In this episode, I’m joined by Colin Wright, an evolutionary biologist and the managing editor at Quillette–the online magazine dedicated to free thought. We discuss the sex and gender debate currently dominating much of social justice zeitgeist, which includes exploring the legal and cultural ramifications of those who seek to step outside society’s traditional definitions of male and female. This shouldn’t need to be said, but because of the hate mail I’ve received, I’ll make it clear: this is a conversation to learn and explore ideas, not to challenge the validity of trans, etc. If we can’t explore viewpoints that are challenging, we can’t grow our perspectives.

Colin Wright is an evolutionary biologist, academic advisor for the Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine, Founding Editor of Reality’s Last Stand, and a fellow at the Manhattan Institute. He writes mainly about science, the biology of sex and sex differences, and gender identity ideology.
